About the Conference

Learn, live and love what Rotary has to offer

The future of Rotary is in your hands, and all you have to do is catch the ball. That's the motto behind the 2010 District Conference and as you'll see every aspect of the conference is being carefully planned to allow Rotarians to learn about club service, explore how that service impacts the community, and most importantly, how all of us can foster a spirit of goodwill and friend ship among our fellow Rotarians.

Programs include a look at how Rotary clubs can attract and retain new members, especially those in younger demographics; how a mechanical soy cow can provide nutrition for thousands of underprivileged children; how to organize a successful fundraising event; and how local farmers and even hobby gardeners can help feed the hungry in their community.

Conference speakers will educate, inspire and stretch your imagination. They include members of the Green Bay Packers, Oneida Nation, and John Shier (aka "that nurse guy") who will show Rotarians how to "Live Long, Die Healthy."

Entertainment includes private tours of Lambeau Field and the Packers Hall of Fame, a semi-formal Ball at Lambeau Field, and if you're feeling lucky, the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center is adjacent to Oneida Bingo & Casino. Play reel and video slots, table games like Blackjack and Craps, or enjoy dining at any of their fine restaurants.
